Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, businesses and employees are struggling to know where to turn for help, and so we have compiled a list of links from the Government and other sources which may provide you with some useful guidance.
Please bear in mind that this list is not exhaustive, and in most cases the guidance is being updated on a daily basis. With this in mind, you may wish to register for your own direct updates from the Government:
We would also strongly urge you (and in particular employers) to seek any HR help available to you via any professional bodies you are a member of, especially if you would like tailored advice regarding your specific circumstances. If you have issued contracts of employment to your employees, then you should refer to these in the first instance regarding your own sick pay and other policies.
Talk to your bank and look for the bank’s email updates. We are also encouraging employers to advise their employees to seek their own help by looking into reducing their outgoings where possible (eg mortgage payment holidays), whilst we are in this period of financial uncertainty.
